Note: All workshops are from 10 am to 3 pm with a $15 registration fee unless otherwise noted.

Session 1:
- Bring total of 3 yards of material (1 yd each of different colors / patterns)
- Bring sewing machine, cutting board, cutter, seam ripper, & scissors
- Bring threads & pins
- Bring lunch and $10 for materials
Session 2:
- Bring all materials from session 1, PLUS 3 yards backing & twill batting
- Bring lunch & $5 for materials

An Introduction to Genealogy
The Caroga Historical Association and Museum is pleased to be adding “An Introduction to Genealogy” to the 2022 season workshop offerings. These sessions will be facilitated by museum trustee Jim Miller, a member of the National Genealogical Society. The workshops will consist of two sessions running from 1.5 to 2 hours each on consecutive Wednesdays starting at 10 am starting June 29th. The workshops will be limited to four participants and will be held in the Homestead building on the museum grounds at 145 London Bridge Road in Caroga Lake. Participants are asked to bring a pencil and eraser and / or a Wi-Fi capable device (pc or tablet). A fill in ancestor chart will be provided. Those interested should contact Jim Miller by calling (518) 835-2931 after May 1st or via email at jim@philgen.org. Depending on the interest expressed, additional sessions of “An Introduction to Genealogy” on subsequent Wednesdays will be available throughout the museum season. A $15 donation to the museum to help cover operating expenses for both sessions workshop is requested.
